We currently have a New Position opening within our Educational Programs Department for a Curriculum Specialist, Conn – Selmer Institute. This role will report to the Director of Educational Programs and support the growth and development of educational content, programs and community efforts.
Supports the development of content and curriculum of all educational platforms.
Writes & produces freemium content for Conn-Selmer Institute library.
Assist in selection of content creators.
Curriculum development for future content.
Manages multiple communities on a monthly basis.
Collaborates with Operations Manager, CSI to manage projects in Monday.com.
Bachelor’s degree in Music Education required.
10+ years teaching in music education required.
Must have vast experience in curriculum development for K – 12 instrumental music education.
Shows initiative, self-motivated, strong drive for results, and self-assessment skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be adaptable and able to quickly and effectively develop and balance multiple relationships and follow up with a variety of people.
Must have experience in writing educational content.
Highly organized and ability to learn quickly.
Strong knowledge of Conn-Selmer educational products and services.
Good presentation and facilitation skills.
Must be adaptable and able to quickly and effectively develop multiple projects at the same time.
