We have an opening for a Project Manager reporting to the Director of Business Transformation. This person will be based in our Monroe, NC facility. The successful candidate must reside within a commutable distance to Monroe.
This position will manage the delivery of company business projects by utilizing methodology tools and practices in order to identify, manage and execute the required deliveries per project. You will be responsible for organizing the resources, identifying tasks and monitoring execution to deliver the project on time, on budget and within scope.
Play the primary day-to-day management liaison between all resources on each specific project.
Anticipate concerns and address them prior to becoming an issue of consequence. Ensure resolution for all concerns are accomplished in as timely and equitable manner as possible.
Confirm scope, budget and timeline are clearly understood for each project.
Create Project Charters, catalog stakeholder registers, create work order structures, develop initial plan project, and procure the necessary resources for each project.
Lead project kick-off sessions, provide timely assignments to delivery team members and provide routine follow up to guarantee the team is on track with each of their deliverables.
Ensure team resources remain engaged in the project.
Provide routine status reports and dashboards indicating the progress and health of each project.
Provide timely corrective action wherever and whenever necessary to keep the project on track.
Confirm the scope is managed per the expectations and any approved scope revision is properly accounted for with appropriate task assignments.
Provide feedback to the managers of all resources as often as necessary to guarantee the success of the project, the team and each resource individually.
Provide routine communication and dialog with stakeholders.
Ensure all deliverables have been satisfied.
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ year’s project management experience or 10+ year’s project management experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired.
Microsoft Certified Professional Dynamics Certifications desired.
Previous experience with Project Management Software such as Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Jira desired.
Proven track record in managing multiple resources in delivering process improvement.
Possess the ability to manage resource both onsite and remote.
Demonstrated repeated ability to achieve project objectives on time, on budget and within scope.
Requires long periods of sedentary work.
Requires repetitive upper movement – keyboarding and monitor use.
