For the first time, we are pleased to announce the addition of the Marching Arts Intensive to Conn Selmer Institute. Attendees will experience a thorough, in-depth curriculum focusing on all aspects of Marching Arts with practical, real-world solutions demonstrated live with the use of a rehearsal marching band.

The Marching Art Intensive curriculum is second-to-none in the breadth and depth of it's scope.

  • A live rehearsal marching band that participants will get to experience and interact with.
    • Virtual option available as well.
  • World class teaching faculty that includes: Chip Crotts, Scott Johnson, Scott Chandler, Freddy Martin, Richard Saucedo, Beth Fabrizio, And Many More
  • Fundamental development for brass, woodwinds, percussion, and color guard put into practice
  • The use of electronics, - basic knowledge as well as more advanced concepts on how to orchestrate and integrate electronics into your show design - will also be included in the curriculum.
  • Music Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Color Guard and Visual Rehearsal Techniques
  • Solving ensemble timing, balance, and blend issues
  • Participants will have great opportunities to interact and ask questions throughout the experience
  • Design consultations for every director participant
